1981年製、用途不明のラウンド形の帽子の木型を使用して、楕円半球型の底を製作。きめの細かいシープレザーを使用したトップと組み合わせ、細身のドローストリング・バッグに仕立てました。
半球部分はパティーヌ染色技法で、東南アジアの甲虫・パリーフタマタクワガタの羽をモチーフに、グラデーション状に彩色しました。
●SOLID & VOID（ソリッド＆ヴォイド）は、様々な分野の木型を利用して、ウェット・フォーミング技法で立体的な曲面をデザインに取り入れたシリーズです。
SOLID(立体)とVOID(虚無)、木型が取り払われて何もない空間にも関わらず、重厚な存在感が残り続ける、というコンセプトです。
